Shipping & Returns

To ensure fast shipping, we will process and dispatch your order as soon as possible, either via Australia Post, Fastway or Star Track once payment has been received and cleared. We carry most of the products listed on our website (unless otherwise indicated) so in most circumstances, there is no waiting period for stock to arrive. The choice of courier (Fastway or Australia Post) will be at our discretion, and will depend on several factors including the location of the shipping address, size of parcel and the items included in your order.


Estimated delivery times will vary according to shipping location, but should be within 2-6 working days for most locations within Australia (deliveries to WA, NT and regional areas may take longer). Orders under $150

$9 Flat Rate delivery fee to anywhere in Australia for orders* where the amount (excluding the delivery fee) is below $150.

* Some items (due to their size and/or weight) have fixed shipping costs per unit of item. These items are shipped exclusively from other products which do not have a fixed shipping cost.

    • If your entire order includes both items which have a fixed shipping cost and items which do not, then the total shipping cost will be the sum of the $9 flat rate + total fixed shipping costs.
    • If your entire order is only made up of items which have a fixed shipping cost, then the total shipping cost will be equal to the total fixed shipping cost only.


Orders $150 or more (FREE SHIPPING)

FREE SHIPPING* for orders within Australia where the order amount (excluding the delivery fee) is $150 or more

* Exclusions applies to orders which include items that have a fixed shipping cost.

Please note that free shipping does not apply to any return parcels, where the customer has initially qualified for free shipping, then had a change of mind and wish to return their order.




Shipping Rates & Methods

We may offer a choice of Airmail or Express Courier International depending on the location & country selected. Rates will vary and will be displayed for each method in the checkout pages. Customs, Duty & Taxes

The items you have purchased may attract a customs fee, duty tax or other additional charges depending on the country you have selected for the shipping address. If any such fees, taxes or additional charges do occur, they must be paid for by the recipient of the parcel before they can accept delivery of the parcel. We do not accept responsibility of any additional charges that may occur to complete delivery of your parcel.


Restricted items

Goods which are classified as dangerous goods (e.g. flammable products, corrosive products, etc) are restricted and cannot be purchased and delivered to any shipping address outside of Australia. If you have purchased an item which is deemed to fall under this category, we will notify you before cancelling the appropriate item(s) or the entire order. Examples of some products which we cannot ship outside of Australia include fragranced diffusers which contain alcohol and butane gas for blowtorches.


Electrical Products

All of the electrical products that we sell on the Homes N Things website are designed for Australian Households (240V). It is your responsibility as the customer to ensure that any electrical products you purchase from us are suitable and meets the required safety standard for use in your local region.



Faulty ,damaged or incorrectly supplied products

When you receive delivery of our products, please inspect your goods immediately. If any of the products are damaged or incorrectly supplied, you have up to 30 days after the delivery date to notify us and upon return of the product(s), you are entitled to a choice of either a refund, or an exchange with an equivalent product provided that the product is in stock. Please keep all packaging and manuals supplied with the product in good, original condition. All items, faulty, damaged or non-damaged, must be returned with its proof of purchase, original packaging and manuals, in its original condition. We reserve the right to inspect all returned items, and to charge a $50 handling and administration fee if the condition of the product was found to be misrepresented by the customer.

How to claim for a refund

To make a refund claim for damaged goods, you must first notify our staff using our contact form indicating which product(s) are damaged or incorrectly supplied, along with your contact details and purchase order number. Our staff will then contact you with further instructions on how to complete your refund claim.

For non-damaged goods

We may accept returns at our own discretion where the order was supplied correctly and in good order. Please contact us before completing your purchase if you have any questions regarding the products you wish to purchase, as we may refuse to accept return of the product(s) purchased where the item was supplied correctly & in good order but the customer have changed their mind.

If your request for a return is accepted, the products approved for return must include all original packaging, and must be received in good condition within 14 days from the date the return request was approved. All shipping charges associated with the return of the item must be paid for by the customer, and a 10% restocking fee based on the total value of the products returned, will be deducted from the refund. If in such case a return is accepted and an exchange is requested, you will also need to pay for the delivery fee associated with dispatching the exchange item. You agree that you shall make no claim against us for any delay in delivery or any damaged product delivered to you as a direct or indirect result of events beyond our control. Homes N Things will not provide a refund or replace a product that has been misused, mishandled or incorrectly installed or serviced. It is the responsibility of the customer to read and follow all instructions and advice or warnings given by the manufacturer or supplier.

Please note that due to hygiene reasons, we will not accept the return of bedding products where the customer has changed their mind.
